H.H. Vishvavasu Swami

On April 25, 1967, I was born in Kurgan, Russia. In September 1989, I joined ISKCON at the Academic Center in Novosibirsk. In October 1989 I started chanting 16 circles and following 4 principles. In September 1990, I became the head of nama-hatta at the Academic Center in Novosibirsk. In the spring of 1991, I became a member of the Regional Meeting of ISKCON Sibiria as secretary of the Novosibirsk temple and regional preacher (Novosibirsk region, Barnaul, Tomsk, Kemerovo). In September 1992, I received my first initiation from Niranjan Swami. In October 1992 - May 1993, I became the temple president of the Novokuzneck temple. In September 1994, Niranjana Swami moved me to Ukraine and I began to serve as the leader of the nama-hattas in Zhitomir and began to work as a traveling preacher in the Zhitomir region (4 nama-hattas). In October 1996, my wife left me and Niranjana Swami transferred me to Kiev as the leader of Nama-hatta in Kiev and teacher of Bhakti-shastra at the Kiev Spiritual Academy. In the spring of 1997, I became the leader of Nama-hatta in the Kyiv preaching region (Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernigov, Cherkasy and Kirovograd regions). In July 1997, I received the second initiation from Niranjan Swami and began to be a traveling preacher in Ukraine. In October 1997, I became rector of the Kyiv Spiritual Academy and chairman of the board of the Kyiv Temple. In the spring of 1998, I became a member of the National Meeting of Ukraine. In the year 2000, I began to follow the instructions of my diksha-guru: "If you are not going to have a managerial services, you must preach and stay no more than 3-4 days in one place." I began to follow these instructions and I still follow them today. In the winter of 2001-2002. I started my service as a traveling preacher in the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), which I continue today. From 2004 until now, I have been serving as the head of the Bhakti-shastri office and a Bhakti-shastri teacher in the Baltics. From 2007 to 2008 I was the president of the temple committee in Tallinn (Estonia). In 2007, I started preaching in Germany. I continue this service today. In 2010, I started the devotee care project "Bhaktivedanta Latvia" in Latvian ISKCON. In 2011, I began serving as a bhakti-shastri teacher and traveling preacher in Germany. I continue this service today. In 2012, I became the rector of the RISHI Spiritual German Academy. I continue this service today. On October 6, 2013. I accepted vanaprastha in Harina Desh, Germany. In 2014, I started being a sannyasa candidate from Germany. In 2016, I began to be the Minister of Education of the Lithuanian ISKCON. In 2017-18 I studied at GBC College. In 2018, I started being a ZS GBC in Estonian ISKCON.
